We need to protect and nurture this woman in Tennessee. Not only is Al Davis gone and Jerry Jones on the way out, but we lost the Detroit owners. They have become competent. We will be stuck with Mark Davis being smarter than his father (not much of an accomplishment but he won't be pure kino), the Jets, the Bears, and the Jags. That's not enough fun, especially with the Bears trying to make good decisions
Rofl. Apparently the team was split into thirds and one of those thirds split into another third after Bud Adams died. Something like 70% of the franchise was owned by 3 different women whose only affiliation to football was Bud Adams. They eventually shifted it around so she's the controlling owner, but talk about a recipe for disaster. He's probably flipping the bird down there in black heaven.
Also, how could you forget the Browns??? Easily the top of the list. Jets may be number 2, assuming all the stuff about his son treating the roster like it was Madden was true.
Jags are interesting. Like, they're owner kinda has the opposite problem that others do in that he let's shit continue for too long. It's not like he doesn't invest into the team, but questions arise when you're pounding your hands over keeping Trent Baalke. To only fire Trent Baalke a month later.
Don't forget the Dolphins. They go under the radar because journoscum fellate McDaniel and try to pretend Reek isn't a washed up domestic abuser, but they've been irrelevant for 25 years and and an absolute shitshow for the past couple. Thanks again for running Vic out of town.
I'm trying to think of an area where the Dolphins have excelled since Marino left. Other than popularizing he wildcat, they've been uniquely meh on offense, defend, and in general. Just had has Miami done this millennia??? They don't even have the excuse of "same, stagnant" owner either. It's probably not a good sign when the only notable things from recent history are a head coach claiming they were tanking and a QB whose really good at getting concussed
Please don't. These people are fat, drunk, and retarded. And half of them are women so they will be drafting shitty players with heartwarming back stories
Reminds me when profootballtalk has a comments section. It was the best demonstration of how insanely retarded football fans can get.
Who actually makes the administrative decisions for the Packers without a traditional "owner". I never really understood how this works.
It's the President, who gets voted in every so often. Team owners, such as myself, get a ballot every summer to vote people in for various roles. I'm a very important person on the team and make very critical decisions. You could say I'm a "big deal", so I do thorough research prior to casting my ballot. In-depth research as: "Is this person a hwite male?"
There's more to it than just voting in whoever, for team president though. I'm not familiar with the specific process to get in the running, but you get the gist. Currently Mark Murphy, but he's stepping down soon due to age limits.
