Conclusion: so there was no May update, because May 1st was for April.

Thought the same when I saw that! Don't forget that the MC is resentful that his father didn't "protect" him from the mother and the mom being the boss of the big corpo "get a real job" area. It's very subtle. :story:

Gotta point out that this is big, this is the first youtuber I've seen that takes Lyric seriously and points out how Mald did furry ERP with a guy 10 years younger and tried to bully him into an exclusive sexual relationship while he had a wife and pooner mistress. And how Shaye attacked Lyric too, they really are a match made in hell.

There are writers who genuinely produce good work by just 'rolling with it', they'll get typing and they won't stop, something things won't even go exactly where they expected and they sort of just let it spill out. Still usually needs an editor pass and the author can be stuck in a bit of a repetition loop if they're not paying attention to themes and events, but its a viable writing strategy for a select few.

However, its almost universally paired with prolific output. These kinds of writers can't put their work down until they've gotten it all out. If Mald was this kind of writer, the game would have 10x the dialog, and he'd have a fucking burning urge to deal with the code side just to get the writing into a 'finished' state and out of his head. I've only seen bits here and there, but Malds writing strikes me more as someone who is always thinking how to win the last argument they had in their head, and writing as if that was what's going on.

I bet Jason was never told by his parents 'stop being such a whiny fat fuck' and was instead given all the ass-pats and 'our Son can never do wrong' platitudes.

All that's done is create a slimy dung beetle with a gay fag hair style and rapist glasses.

having lost all of his credibility he's become the best person to troll of the 2020s and all he has going for him is banning trolls. people watching his content dont care about game dev or whatever game he's playing or his mushrooms. they care about his bitching about being a victim

if you check his discord the only subject that sticks is about how much maldy is victim and about how trolls drool or w/e

its very pathetic. theres a solid risk that if he starts reforming from being a cow and stops being one, he'll lose the last of his audience since their current favourite content will end
