Arts and crafts stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels focus more on CRAFTS than arts. Dick Blick has imports from Europe and Japan that make the trip to their store worth every penny. I'm really happy Jessika doesn't know what "chagning the names to protect the innocent" means and didn't just draw a generic art store. Blick deserves the support and attention. And she deserves the shaming.

If you really wanted to, you could argue that thinking that the answer to creative block is to "obtain more stuff" is the kind of materialistic mentality that drives consumerism in the first place.
It's always funny to me that most of the people I see critiquing the evils of capitalism are the biggest consumers ever, the fact that they steal shit doesn't change the mentality behind it. More stuff=more good.

No shit that people hate her, she has show various times how terrible of a person she is and by the way your argument about crime in media falls apart when you consider that:
1) Those crimes happening are not real. Jess confirmed that she used to steal when younger and probably still does from time to time.
2) Those movies and games don't try to justify the crimes, most of the characters know what they are doing is bad but still proceed to do it fully aware what are the consequences if they get caught. Jess would have probably cried like a bitch if she had been caught in the act.
3) If the point of stealing was to get rid of your art block but you still have it, what was the fucking goal here? It's more how the fuck stealing helps in any way to deal with art block?
