Later, multiple photos would be published where the butcher is seen holding the head of the victim. After some OSINT investigation done by Vietnamese Netizens, the victim & the butcher have been identified.

The victim Nguyễn Xuân Đạt (36 y/o male) was very depressed and had a pleasure for being "decapitated". Later, he would join various facebook groups to look for a female to decapitate him. Later, he would go on Vietnamese homosexual forums to try to look for a "partner" to do this with. Later, he would meet Đoàn Văn Sáng, a married father in his late 50s and later agreed to take part in this. It was then filmed via 4 cameras and was then sold on various Telegram groups before being republished to gore websites. Thanks to the OSINT work, Doan Van Sang is now currently in police custody and is expected to face death row in prison.
