i was going to say "but the chair is right there, couldn't she just point to it?" then i fucking realized even the chair is CGI. Holy shit, they really do fly by the seat of their pants. say what you will about Roger Rabbit or Starship troopers but there's something to be said about actually having planned out your shit beforehand. Its very easy to react to something when there is a model there too. What happened to having some stupid doll or midget standing in that you take out in post either?

she could have gotten a prop but what if the director decides to change everything about the CGI in the scene? wouldn't it be smarter to give the little girl as little as possible so you can change everything around her at a moment's notice? the MCU does it and it worked great in the thanos saga.
Oh god if they really replaced the chair with CGI, that would explain a lot. They didn't want the girl to break the illusion.

I saw that video. It was a good takedown. Rachel has to be the most successful failed actress in the history of Hollyweird (weird, weird). Every film she took part in was a failure and yet she is still given roles. That is probably coming to an end though.
How many cocks is she sucking?

Not sucking, more like take up the ass. She is not pretty enough to get away with just sucking. At the same time, she was a DEI hire that can sing. Factoring that, she only had to take one or two dicks, more or less. DEI saved her ass, if you will. Twenty years ago, it would have been a different deal, though.

How depressing must it be to be an actor these days.

"O.K. for the next [insert number of days here], you're going to be performing inside a gigantic green/blue room that not only feels souless (so you can't use the environments to help better your performance) but will also probably fuck-up your vision for a while"

Never forget the time Ian McKellen broke down crying while filming one of the Hobbit movies because he was surrounded by greenscreen and pictures of the other actors' faces.

I've never seen Moana, but I assume from how contemporary it is, that there'll probably be less fuckery in the adaptation. Wasn't it already doing the girl boss shit to begin with?

I will make one prediction, the water effects will not be as good as The Way of Water.
Nah, Moana in the original is kind of a big doofus who's largely trying to figure out her way and the journey for her is legitimately difficult kind of like a coming-of-age type of thing.

I really like the music too but the sequel basically dismisses all of that and turns into an even more powerful god than Maui.

That likely means that the remake is going to pull elements from the sequel to justify it

I still don't know how they found to to be profitable by making every movie a tax write off, even their biggest tickets.

They pay themselves and their proxies on the front end, so the profits are irrelevant. It's essentially just looting corporate holdings and defrauding investors.

Disney ceased being a legitimate business who knows how long ago, but as of two years ago, Motley Fool (and other actual money making firms, Hutton and Schwab I believe) all divested their indeces of any holdings. The only ones left are true believers.

The Moana sequel we need but will never get is Captain James Cook and the British Navy showing up.

The smarter ones left while the fools are left to pick at the scraps, if there are any left.

There isn't even the barest semblance of artistry in these slop films anymore. Its literally just a fucking product. Oh the focus groups may not like it or the internet reacted badly to leaks, we need to be able to redo everything.

At least they've been steadily failing at it since MCU's Infinity Saga ended. Disney knows they can't coast on this forever if the current cancellations like for Live Action Tangled are anything to go by. Lilo and Stitch will be pivotal for them in if they want to continue pushing these remakes or not, since it's too far along to get iced in response to Snow White.

At first I thought to make separate thread for this but on second thought, I think it's not worth it. Yet.

Buckle up cuz Groomsney are making new TRON movie. Presenting you CyberMorbius 2077 as one of your characters of choice. I wish it was a satire but no, it's not.
