Fallout series

These asinine tools could've made gangbusters if they decided to put the horny bullshit into some sort of furry/scaly oriented game that'll probably get a brief chuckle out of the internet and get furry faggots paying 20-30 bucks a pop, but no. They put up the front of being a serious mod to be taken seriously all while having Deathclaw sex and barely legal sex slavery with a slice of Kojumbo and Spec Ops: The Line bullshit.

Line 'em up boys. First Yandere Sim, Hunt Down The Freeman, and now Fallout: The Frontier of Furaffinity. At some point I feel like mods are trying to one-up how bad they are.

Moral of the story, keep in your pants not your projects
I said it in the dedicated thread. Before doing anything remotely creative, milk yourself empty.

Make sure that when you start working on your creative venture that you are drained of coom. Therefore your horny ape-brain will not poison and corrupt what you are working on.

Just do a cursory google search of someone's username before you hire them. It rules out pretty much all diaperfags, furries, etc. in one fell swoop.

That’s gonna be where any future action will occur. I foresee a flood of mass uploads of the mod, which will hilarious when the jannies have to clean up the mess clogging up Nexus.

and Enclave-posting will continue to increase in popularity.

What the fuck is their obsession with not letting you play as the fucking Enclave? Quite literally, it's the most popular Fallout faction aside from the Brotherhood of Steel and MAYBE Caesar's Legion. Saying that it's pointless because they're a fascist power fantasy is ignoring the fact that the Legion quite literally IS a fascist power fantasy complete with a Supreme Leader (Caesar), his secret police (the Frumentarii), his SS/protection squad (the Praetorians) and the fact that they genocide or forcibly assimilate tribes while destroying their identities. Quite literally, Fallout New Vegas allowed you to cosplay as a bona-fide fascist, complete with you being blindly obedient to the wasteland's version of Il Duce, and it's basically a power fantasy with you running over mostly incompetent and weak NCR troops who only have a handful of power-armored soldiers and rangers that can pose a threat against you.

The Enclave is basically 1950s America refusing to die. In a world where the culture was stuck with 1950s America before the bombs dropped, it's only proper to allow players to roleplay as a proud sentinel of that 1950s American culture, just as how if you set up a roleplaying game in Star Wars' Galactic Civil War, you need to leave room for the people who want to roleplay as the Empire and the Sith. Sure, many will roleplay as members of the Rebel Alliance, or as Jedi survivors, or Smugglers and Bounty Hunters, but there will of course be those who wish to play as the most iconic villain faction of that series.

Ever since Fallout 2, the Enclave has been a well-loved faction by the fanbase, down to the point of flanderization. Especially when you've got characters like Sgt. Dornan, Frank Horrigan, that random comm officer who sends the Vertibird strike team against you, President John Henry Eden, and Arcade Gannon among the Enclave's lineup. Some of the best speeches and quotes from the Fallout universe come from these characters, from Fallouts 2, 3, and New Vegas. What if someone wants to be the next Sgt. Dornan or Frank Horrigan, some kind of shocktrooper for old America fighting with those noobs among the NCR and the Legion and wiping out those deserters from the Brotherhood? What if someone wants to be like say, Arcade Gannon, using the Enclave's tech and knowledge to help the wastelanders? What if someone wants to roleplay as a character who was moved by the propagandist statements of the likes of John Henry Eden to restore America to its rightful place in the world? Given how far and wide Enclave Radio reached, surely there must at least be more than a few Vault Dwellers inspired to join the Enclave who have the human purity that the Enclave sought.

That, and considering the fact that the likes of Enclave Squad Sigma and the Enclave Remnants in the Mojave are willing to work with not-so-pure folks like Stiggs and the Courier, it's quite obvious that they've lost their "purity of humanity" nonsense between Fallouts 2 and 3, considering the fact that Colonel Autumn wants to recruit random wastelanders regardless of radiation levels and one Enclave doctor even works for the mutants in Jacobstown. So even the excuse of "they won't recruit you because you're not pure human" no longer counts. The Courier wasn't confirmed to be a pure human, yet they can still get in the good graces of the Enclave Remnants and even learn how to use power armor from them AND get a free suit of power armor that makes all the Brotherhood power armor models look like shit.

Also, considering that Trump is in bed with the libertarians, to call Legion characters "Trump Supporters" is rather inaccurate. Especially when the man practically allowed local politicians to determine each state's response to the Beer-bug, which had devastating results. Caesar's Legion would never allow such a loose response to a crisis, and neither would the Enclave. An actual fascist, or an Enclave/Legion official would have used the bug to centralize government, eliminate local politicians and replace them with yes-men lackeys, and use the phenomenon as an excuse to centralize power further into the hands of the executive branch and suspend further elections. Like what a real fascist would have done in a time of crisis.

Moral of the story, keep in your pants not your projects

If they had smut that was actually canon to Fallout, it could have worked. Like say, have NCR and neutral towns be filled to the brim with brothels that cater to every type, New Reno style. Or have Legion camps with female sex slaves. Or a raider outfit you can join that has male and female sex slaves or sex with other raiders. Maybe you can get in good with a raider boss and plow him/her, like how you can get into Red Lucy's good graces in The Thorn after getting all the eggs she wanted. Anything else would have been better than screwing with lizards while blocking out one of the most in-demand factions in the entire Fallout franchise because "hurr durr meaningless fascist power fantasy". I'm sure that trying to rebuild America isn't a meaningless fascist power fantasy. When Rome fell, there was no shortage of people trying to rebuild its Empire. So no shit, America would have the same thing, especially if surviving remnants of the government are actively trying to rebuild the nation.

Just to put into perspective how much better Enclave tech is, The Remnants Power Armor you get in New Vegas is rusted to hell, the eye lens are dirty and cracked, and its scratched beyond measure, looking like it tumbled down a mountain for three days... And it still has the bar-none highest armor rating on par with Joshua Grahams natural Damage Threshold of 50.

Nothing short of high explosives or an NCR rangers anti material rifle is getting through it without serious damage drop off. And that's before you stack on chems or perks.

(Hell, walking up to an enclave soldier while youre wearing a normal power armor suit has them ask if you dug it out of a musuem.)@

Is it any wonder people want to play as them when they have some of the most compelling dialogue and coolest toys?

Fallout: the frontier sort of proves that the infinte monkey theorem is bullshit. These retarded monkeys had infinite time, an infinite amount of assets, infinite access to FPS games and action movies and an infinite amount of people willing to help them (for free) , and they still didn't manage to create something cohesive.
“It was the best of mods, it was the blurst of mods?!”

Seriously, how the hell did the name "Zu the Skunk" not raise any red flags amongst the team?

Either they were hopelessly naïve, didn't care since they shared some similar viewpoints (look no further than the way the Kenosha Dumbasses were deified despite being known pieces of shit), or have other sick fucks amongst them (likely, since Zu didn't contribute to any of the writing besides proofreading or some shit).

No matter how you look at it, the whole thing's a cautionary tale about the importance of proper vetting.

It has terrible item hp though which can be fixed with mods

x-posting this from the dedicated thread since it should be spread IMO.

Which is explained by the fact its old, rusted, and poorly maintained. Daisy should be fucking ashamed of herself for that though considering its her armor and not some random suit that's been dug up from a hole.

It can also be cannibal's

That's fair considering he does live in a hole, but even so. There's no real excuse for a supposedly modern suit of armor to look like it got dragged out a 200 year old collapsed building.
Its also been 40 years since the Enclave died in the west. The eastern portion had different models.
All they had access to was a refueling station, so i doubt they had the proper tools to maintain a suit, let alone for 40 years on NCR boarders. And unless you know the only two places in the game that have the armor, (Deathclaw Promontory for the suit and Ruby Hill Mine for the helmet) you won't get it. So by all accounts, it looking like it does makes sense... Barring engine limitations for textures.

Thats one thing i can respect Bethesda for. Power armor in various states of repair depending on model type.

Why is the Enclave so popular? They were a neat idea in FO2 but not that well executed and came across too much like cartoonish villains. In FO3 they were worse than cartoon villains. Saturday morning cartoons have better and more consistent writing. And in NV they were barely present.

I really don't get the obsession with the Enclave.
If you just want assholes in power armors, the FO4 route of making BoS fill that role was so much better than bringing the Enclave back after being destroyed twice.

Sometimes it’s fun being the cartoon villain.

You don't need to bring the Enclave back for that.

You can come up with something new. Or at least bring something else back that wasn't destroyed twice already.
How about bringing the Master back? Let him transform you into a super mutant and conquer the Wasteland.

Don't underestimate the power of good aesthetics and the star sprangled banner.
If you're american the Enclave is likely a more relatable group to you than the people LARPing as romans, tech monks, or Mad Max rejects.
And as you pointed out their absence required the Brotherhood of Steel to fill their role.

I'm aware, but the suit looks like it was again, crushed under a building and left for 200 years as opposed to being what, 80 years old, tops, and kept in pristine condition for 40 of them? It isn't the disrepair I have issues with by itself but the fact there's no good reason for it to be completely rusty and ugly. Especially since assuming its been stored in that refueling depot for 40 years after the escape there shouldn't be any oxidation like we see. At minimum you'd expect some paint over those bits to keep the metal safe.

EDIT: Yeah, there's the texture issues but its still jarring to play with.
