Jesus Christ it's bananas to me that he openly admits to buying (and calls it "adopting" sometimes lol) these animals from pet stores. That should've tanked his credibility re: being a legit rescue long ago. Dude is just a degenerate ferret hoarder. Thanks for dropping by! Your intuition was correct, there are at least six ferrets 🄰 who came from pet stores according to the Wiki. Adding to the "wants a lot of pets" theory, some number crunching has shown he has the tendency to take in a lot of ferrets at once shortly after one dies.
The rescue currently has 56 ferrets, and the majority of the care is done by Shaye (who goes by the title Exotic Vet Assistant) and another part-time employee. If you want to look further into it, their stream is here and the Wiki has a bunch of Twitch clips.
The only animal on URR that's gotten the "Valhalla" treatment is Big Ounce, but only because he's been a mainstay/meme ever since the start of the channel, and because he died of natural causes. Any other time a named animal dies, Ben just stops mentioning them in videos.
It's so much worse than that.Jesus Christ it's bananas to me that he openly admits to buying (and calls it "adopting" sometimes lol) these animals from pet stores. That should've tanked his credibility re: being a legit rescue long ago. Dude is just a degenerate ferret hoarder.
By buying these creatures from PetSmart or wherever he's directly supporting unethical breeding practices (i.e. puppy mills), selling sick animals, poor or inhumane living conditions and so many other ills. This stupid retard has me MATI.
I actually have that stream in 720p now. I chopped up the coding segment to hopefully make it easy for our lovable autistic code reviewers to comb through all the text. I clipped out bits of him playing the game and staring at an unchanging screen, but made sure to capture error messages. I figure since we've already got the full stream where he's talking, this will ignore that and focus on the code. I've still got the full stream kicking around so let me know if you'd like something more in full.
The best part of this story is Mald claimed that after he went "viral" on LSF twitch made the software and game development category a month after. He sounds like he's gonna cry. REEE I'M THE ONLY GAMEDEV ON TWITCH WERE DYING WHUDDAFAGGOT
I just wanna add something I remembered. I have no proof/receipts of it but here we go
This lines up with Pippa's post about it being a bit before the newest Hardcore realms release (Late October vs 21st Nov HC release). It lines up with what Pippa said about him butting heads over mechanics.
Sorry I haven't learned how to archive yet, cut me some fucking slack for now while I wrap my head around this shit. The video hurts to watch from the sheer autism and cringe, but his voice is there.
That is a great find, thank you.Two clips from late October 2024 where Mald talks about some drama that happened in his guild.
I don't get it. The GM documentation clearly states:Mald explaining one of the bugs he encountered during that stream.
So how can he delete an object? I guess he messed up with the wording (again). In GameMaker you have objects and you have instances. Objects are essentially the base template for an instance, and as such are never present in a room directly... Only instances of the object are placed in the room.
Maybe I'm retarded since I don't use GameMaker but wouldn't it make more sense to have a the damage calculated by taking a random value in a pre-determined range for said attack? Perhaps I'm thinking of this at too high of a level, I don't know what his model looks like or how it works internally but having to access a value in object B to determine something in object A just seems a little convoluted.I don't get it. The GM documentation clearly states:
So how can he delete an object? I guess he messed up with the wording (again).
I don't know anything about his project, this engine and its language, so maybe what I'm about to suggest is wrong, but my guess is he could have avoided this by simply managing view and model separately, because it sounds like he wanted to access data that technically needs to be persistent, but for some reason only can be accessed when it's in the frame.
Story: Little brave gnome traverses dangerous lands to enter Moldy Cave and discover its dark secrets.
This is sound advice, of course.Youre tanking your career by posting on the chud nazi site. I respect you a lot for coming here and your stance on freeze peach, but all it takes is one influential tranny to catch a whiff of this and you'll be unpersoned at the speed of light.
It does not seem so, no, and he apparently indicated to me he is not. But I have no personal knowledge of their communications with one another.Hello! I have at least one question, it can be answered with a yes, no, and decline if need be, but is Kronos, Jason’s admin who is supposedly a lawyer representing him in this DMCA case?
I have the right to say to my SO that she looks ugly. It is a lie. But I don't think I ought to say it--usually. I don't believe it is true for starters., and I don't like defending a position I don't believe in. How sticky? But on occasion I might say it if the comedic timing is perfect.Being a tourist to this thread, prompted by its announcement in our Community Happenings bulletin, I must disagree with this statement specifically: rights are only relevant as they are exercised. To have your rights curbed by something as ephemeral as social pressure, especially in a setting that recognizes the occasional friction between healthy exercise of one’s rights and the social norms, is simply self-defeating for anyone to whom those rights are held with anything but contempt.
Actually I don't know that opinion, but it makes intuitive, common sense--for me anyhow. Depends on what material is in the takedown request, no? And for what use is the publication? Still do a fair use analysis. Like if the use is not transformative, then yeah, you're probably gonna have a problem.Hey Mario, we probably don't agree with everything you say as well, but we also hold dear the right of the people to communicate freely. Do you know about the 10th Circuit ruling that posting the text of a DMCA takedown request, may be contributory copyright infringement?
Absolutely true. For me it's a wash. But everywhere has their idiots.
I legit thought "Oh, here comes the lift state up in the dependency tree if shit gets weird" talk. Nope.Mald explaining one of the bugs he encountered during that stream.
I successfully represented a codefendent in the Alex Jones case and I live in Connecticut, I was less than 10 miles from Newtown when it happened, and judges specifically told me not to do the case. I have been yelled at by very important people in open court. I told the state judges that CT RPC 8.4(7) was unconstitutional and if they adopted it, it would be successfully challenged as unconstitutional, which they did, and now I am in Cerame v. Slack. Is this the true last straw?Youre tanking your career by posting on the chud nazi site. I respect you a lot for coming here and your stance on freeze peach, but all it takes is one influential tranny to catch a whiff of this and you'll be unpersoned at the speed of light.
this wasn't archived yet, but kinda adds onto the fire of bad business practice. The girl
