Far as I can tell, Jessica maintains control over Cobra like this.

1. Use guilt. Take innocuous comments and turn them into perceived personal attacks, complain that you’re hurt and put on, that you’re nothing and that they don’t love you. That they’re cheating on you, that it’s infidelity. Prey on their heart and their good nature until they apologize to you over nothing and bend their knee. People who are submissive to you will never leave you, which is what she’s terrified of to begin with.

2. This doesn’t actually work on Cobra most of the time because he doesn’t give a fuck about anything except for weed, ozzy, sickos and chatterbate, so the next logical step is intimidation. Jessica will have a complete mental breakdown and eventually someone will admit they’re in the wrong if only to shut Jessica the fuck up and that’s all she wants. She wants validation and control.

3. On the rare chance Cobra doesn’t even give a fuck about this and spends the night saying “Man I wish you’d just shut the fuck up” she will just threaten to kill herself. Suicide baiting is the ultimate move for her, it is always the last resort of a psycho to threaten to kill themselves to get what they want. If nothing else works, this always works on Cobra. She’s done it a handful of times now.

This is a vicious cycle of mental and emotional abuse that is commonly encountered by men who date women in their 20s. We all date this kind of woman a handful of times in our lives. We all want to fix her and we all can’t, they all cause evictions or familial hardships or unnecessary dramatics. Cobra is just going through it in his mid-30s, he’ll emerge a little bruised from the encounter but optimistically a little more wise for it.

I know they consider Puff his fault, but, as fair as I know, he didn't buy Puff: trolls bought Puff. So, I don't blame that on Cobes.

Puff was 100% Cobes' fault, no denying it. He gushed over it when Homefelon Ian brought it over to show him, and when Homefelon Ian had to go where Puff couldn't come, Ian gave the lizard to Cobes. A lot of people, including his actual trusted friends, informed Cobes on the proper ways to take care of Puff but he didn't listen as usual. Perhaps due to being innundated with trolls saying the same shit, whatever, only Cobes knows. Either Cobes killed the lizard and made up a story or he was stupid enough to take Puff out into the cold fall evening to smoke and too drunk or high to chase after the little guy when he jumped off into the grass.
