I rather enjoy the mix feeling of his folks, of pity and disgust, you REALLY nailed it right there, it's such an awful thing having a child who's wrong or off even in the littlest bit, heck I pity parents who's kids are some semi accepted minority like, homosexual, nerdy, sub sect religion etc. I think of Chibi, where his step dad left over the cow and his mom. But yeah having a child with issues must be hell and I'm sure it's hard and you try and fuck up even if you want the best, I think Myra wanted that but at same time, wanted some ass pats. It's a dangerous combo. I can see that straining or ruining things.
From what we've seen, I think King Roy saw the serious danger Lucas is and needed to put his foot down, it's sad but at same time what can you do if other parent isn't following with sane things. Lucas should have been warded. He's old enough they coulda thrown him into one then moved to a group home. Remember he couldn't stay at home because he refused meds, so he'd not go to a group home and be a wandering hobo much like now, but more "needy" and probably slunk back in.
Frankly I think dropping lucas off at a tard house at 5 would have been a healthier happier future for him than his own life and safer for women.
I have really mixed feelings, sure Myra helped create the beast as in she didn't get an abortion and coddled him, but at same time, they set up some basic fucking rules and Lucas refused. That's what bothers me, with out major PL I know someone who's much lower than Lucas, super family help and super dude, I love this guy but like stocking shelves is trig to him. He works does basic house chores folks manage his money he's a good dude. Now he's lucky he's got a good family. Lucas had this option, but chose to say no and can take tax payer money. I don't like how crazy people can just set their own rules and then get MY money. I mean picture that to any of us, maybe I'm really sad at work, I can't tell my boss yeah I got a temp case of depression, I'm going to work in scooby doo boxer shorts or I get unemployment.
Also, Lucas is fat and going to lose his feet, I've feel any well thought out post needs to end in pointing out his obesity and homosexuality.
