You can't blame people for seeing the follow up line as backtracking though. The only two sides in Charlottesville were the genuine white supremacists and neo-Nazis on one side and counter protesters on the other. What else would he mean by there being "fine people on both sides"? Who goes to a gathering organized by white supremacists, on the side of white supremacists, but isn't a white supremacist?

I'm not saying Trump is racist, anyone who does believe that needs some kind of IQ check. However you cannot blame people for seeing this quote from him and being pretty  about it.
Every time someone falls for the "Fine People Hoax" Dilbertman punches an angel in rage.

As to the point of: "What else would he mean by there being "fine people on both sides"? Who goes to a gathering organized by white supremacists, on the side of white supremacists, but isn't a white supremacist?" The name of the rally was "Unite The Right" which was a half baked idea to get every group on the right side of the political spectrum to come support a statue of Robert E. Lee. By the time of the actual rally, most non-white nationalist affiliated groups dropped out, but there were people there just to support that statue.

Not only that but Trump was making a slippery slope argument that turned out to be correct (now they want to take down Washington, Jefferson, et al.) If biden is as spineless as he comes off, he will cave to these people at least enough to set off a chain reaction.

It's pretty funny to see heebs in the media take a page directly out of Goebbels playbook - repeat a lie often enough and it will become the truth. It would be a lot funnier if there weren't hoards of willfully ignorant people who've never heard of the cultural revolution, let alone know anything about the long term consequences of shitting on your own history.
America sucked anyways. Washington deserves to be vandalized for founding such a subversive nation that pushed neoliberal / neoconservative ideology on every part of the globe as well as jump-starting the creation Israel.

Hell a few hundred years ago people were probably saying the same about the Industrial Revolution and invention of electricity and gun powder.

The Wright Brothers got a lot of shit for their invention of the airplane.

Technology has been "ruining" human civilization since before your great grandpa was born.
It's good to know that you enthusiastically support the nuclear arms race, sophisticated distribution networks for material containing the victimization of children and other vulnerable people, and the development of extremely lethal chemical agents for the express purpose of warfare.

That's if Trump manages to stay clean and out of courts for the next 4 years. And provided that Biden doesn't. On the off chance, turn out to be a likable president.

But considering Trump has outstanding court cases ranging from sexual misconduct, tax fraud, bank fraud, countersuits against some of his litigations, a class action suit for his Trump University thing, a federal revisit of the case with Micheal Cohen's testimony for payments to Stormy Daniels, a lawsuit about siphoning money for his political organization, and iirc something to do with Trump Tower.

I'm not sure how much of this will stand up but I know the mayor of NY is waiting for Trump, and given all that shit I can't imagine him running again
There probably is a solid tax-related case to pursue against the Trump Org, if not Trump personally. A lot of is probably run-of-the-mill corporate tax avoidance that tons of other companies engage in but is rarely investigated.

The IRS has been defunded to the point where someone making $25,000 a year is more likely to be audited than someone making $25 million a year. The IRS has told congress that it’s just too expensive to audit wealthy taxpayers. Source: https://www.propublica.org/article/irs-sorry-but-its-just-easier-and-cheaper-to-audit-the-poor

I think the NY AG and Manhattan DA kind of have to continue pursuing their cases. It would look pretty terrible optics-wise if they dropped them right after Trump is no longer president since they’ve insisted that these cases aren't political.

Had Trump not run for president, he probably would have been fine lol.

I disagree, this guy has it way more right
Edit: And to clarify, if you get pass him being a completely amoral he is right about war and the nature of war, it's part of who we are, it will always occur. This whole peace thing is getting way too annoying anyway. We are becoming more and more domesticated.

Luddite sperging about "technology bad" is retarded especially if they are currently reaping the benefits of said technology by posting on an internet forum.

Contrary to all the people blaming hem for the roni, he probably would have won the election if he let it run wild instead of blowing up the economy.
He would have won if he'd had any coherent, intelligible policy whatsoever, if it even made him look like a leader instead of a bumbling buffoon who had no idea what he was doing. Instead he was shitting on his own chief doc (why not fire him if the guy is actually an idiot), changing his opinion every day or two, recommending quack remedies, and completely failing to lead the country in any way. It's the job of the President at some point not to shitpost on Twitter like a fucking retard and actually lead. Even if his policy was dead wrong, if he had just clearly had one at all it would have looked a lot better.

resident-elect Joe Biden's campaign is fundraising to fight the Trump campaign's legal efforts, vowing to "re-launch" its "fight fund" even as Biden has tried to downplay his opponent's lawsuits.

"Donald Trump is doubling down on lawsuits," a campaign email read on Tuesday night.
The campiagn argued that "litigation is expensive, but we need to be prepared to fight these lawsuits regardless and ensure Trump doesn’t win them just because we don’t have the funds to fight back. Which is why today we are re-launching our Biden Fight Fund, and why we need your help to fill it with $30 million in the coming days and weeks."
The campaign added that it "wouldn’t be asking if we didn’t truly need $30 million to be able to fund the legal work ahead -- we can’t run out of resources now, which is why we need to fill this fund as soon as we can."

The campaign previously promoted the "Biden Fight Fund" on the day after the election. Since then, the number of Trump's lawsuits has grown while several have been shot down by courts.
As late as Tuesday evening, the campaign was expected to file a lawsuit blocking Michigan from certifying its election results, citing a need to verify that the ballots were "tabulated in accordance with the law."

Tuesday's email from the Biden campaign came hours after he shrugged off President Trump’s frefusal to accept the election outcome as “inconsequential,” even as Democrats elsewhere warned that the Republican president’s actions were dangerous.
He described Trump’s position as little more than an “embarrassing” mark on the outgoing president’s legacy, while predicting that Republicans on Capitol Hill would eventually accept the reality of Biden’s victory. The Republican resistance, Biden said, “does not change the dynamic at all in what we’re able to do.”

Because he has a PR team. You really think Trump thought to himself: “golly, I can’t believe I said such a mean thing. I must apologize!”

did you watch the first debate? And how he got handed an opportunity to condemn white nationalists and fucking yeeted it out the window? Dudes so stupid he didn’t even condemn neo-nazis during a live debate. He really thought he was going to win so hard he couldn’t even fake not being a goddamn racist.
>Cultured Thot

Please consider rope lol

Then he's fucked, because there's no way he's flipping GA. The GOP there is actively working against him and hate him. So GA is pretty much over. If he flips PA, he still needs to flip MI and ANOTHER state. PA is his 'best shot', but even if he flips it, he's got 2 more to go. Maybe he gets MI, since that's the second most suspicious. But then what? Either NV or WI. Like that's fucking incredible if he does it. Let's say he's got a 75% chance to flip PA, a 25% chance to flip MI and a 15% chance to flip another state. That's about a 3% chance of all that happening (It is actually 2.8 but to be fair I rounded to 3). I'm not being a 'doomer lolz'. Its just reality. With the lawyers quitting, no one is going to man up. He's not going to be able to hire decent firms. Then you have his own party slicing him up. Yes, I realize Trump hit the 1% chance last time. So, if you want to look at it optimistically, you can say he has 3 times the chance of winning than he did in 2016.

And then all the opposition he has. You have Lefties basically trying to end the careers of anyone helping him, the entire media just going HAM, the Georgia and Arizona GOP being faggots, technocrats censoring left and right...I mean, holy fuck. Not to mention most people believe he's already elected. So this compounded with everything it just doesn't seem feasible to me.

Worse than Bush did when he eviscerated civil liberties, started two wars that drained our treasury and did the most heinous neo-con shit? Either people are retarded or there's something wrong. If people are that retarded than we deserve a neo-liberal fucktard like Biden. I mean, if you want a neo-liberal who sides with neo-cons as your President, instead of just a ridiculous asshole, I don't know what to tell you. I will NEVER vote for a neo-liberal. Ever.

How would evil minded Dems ruin careers of any lawyers? Lawyers are already used to hate.
And us autists are NEETs who are off the grid. You cann't ruin the lives of people with skin of rhinos.
Trump doesn't need to flip any states, he just needs as many recounts as possible performed as slowly as possible.
Plus all the lawsuits to boot.
Outstanding issues on Safe Habor Day - proceed go to SCOTUS - SCOTUS kicks can to House - 14th of December arrives and Repub legislature states are emboldened to snned 1 elector each and vote for Trump - 26 states Majority - Trump stays Pres 4 more years.

In life there are many situations where all outcomes are bad. It becomes a question of which one is the least bad and most likely. A reversion to a pre industrial society is most likely and least bad considering all things.

Yes? Trump is an immature asshole. They know that. They still voted for him in 2016 because he promised them that their jobs would stay here. He obviously lied and they remembered that. Why would those same people vote for Trump when he already lied to them about their jobs? He had nothing to offer those voters.

Rallies mean jack shit, especially during a pandemic. Trump threw superspreader events, while Biden held smaller rallies because of the pandemic.

Sorry that your man love lost, but get over it man.
Democrats care about social distancing?

Probably way off topic, but to be fully honest, there's a lot of autists that go and say they'd be better off without the technology surrounding them. Pretty much all of them regret what they said the moment it actually happens.
