there's a lot of variety in stair heights but for most common heights this would put him somewhere between 5'0 and 5'6. I sure wish these people who go out and meet Ralph in real life would do something to measure his height.

it's an optical illusion from the distance he's not 10 steps he's 9(more like 8.7) steps tall, we've already measured him a billion ways in the past, depending on the sneakers and boots he's between 5'2''-5'6''.
The guard rail is a standard 3' and 10 steps would put him over 6' by a lot which is obviously incorrect.
I guess "I was personally invited" means "I called up nick and told him I can't afford to come, can I pay you back"... does he forget telling everyone the story of how he had to beg?

The problem is when the ring master realizes that the alcoholic clown is the main attraction not the side show.
Imagine how glad BA is that he got away from the AF before the circus rolled into town. Ralph would have def been hitting him up for a sofa to crash on.
Nick fears the Gunt. He will come to the rally whether Nick likes it or not. Matter of fact Nick personally invited him! (He didn’t, but Gunt knows Nick is too cowardly to ever deny it)

Those are not the words of a man that knows he's invited and welcome at an event. Those are the words of someone who assumes if he shows up that they won't kick him out. Someone that was lightly disinvited and assumes it wasn't a hard no, and not that they were just trying to be polite in saying he wasn't welcome.
