They are churning out content, as fast as possible to try to drive streaming numbers. That's it, quality be damned, because they know they can pay off media to call critics racist. Disney is making disposable content, and anything they have faith in, gets into theatres.

Warner and Netflix are restructuring, they are analyzing what sells and what doesn't. Now Warner and Discovery together means, that they can make low effort, reality content, that will generate views. That is Discovery's whole deal, every month you get some trash tv, something mostly inoffensive to watch, that people tweet about in a bland manner. Warner you have your more higher concept, scripted television, to appeal to people who don't like reality tv. It's actually not the worst idea to merge the two, or package them together in some way. It makes use of the broad appeal factor in a way that, if done right makes everyone happy.

Amazon seems to be attempting to make an "Epic" must see tv series, in an attempt to build enough prestige, to decouple Prime streaming, from Prime shipping and charge people for both.

I cannot find it right now as I can't search or even open my bookmarks but like a year or two ago he got into some cry session with a tranny about he was denied being in gifted classes because his parents didn't push for him to be in them.
