I'm not sure about how it is in America, but in my country it differs state-to-state. In one state you can abort up to 14 weeks, but can go up to 23 weeks if two doctors agree to the abortion but after 23, it's not legal to perform it UNLESS it's to save the pregnant woman's life.
Abortion should be legal for a few reasons that have already been discussed, but what I want to talk about is protesting in front of a medical center and how... Christ, how tacky it is. Abortion isn't something to take lightly, it's a serious decision for one to make. And I see in America people screaming in other peoples faces with posters that all but shout "if you have an abortion, you're a murderer" "You're a monster if you have one" and it's always right by the entrance of the building. (For reference, in most states of my country you can not protest abortion within 150m of a medical center that performs abortions).
It just seems like rubbing salt and lemon on a wound to me.
