What game did you finish today?

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Haven't played it in about 8 years but I beat it faster (9.5 hours) explored more of the castle than I did back then. Part of it was me using magic this time around (I never played fighters back then, so I wasn't experienced with that kind of input). Soul Steal is freaking OP.

Since it's the Dracula X Chronicles version, I'm going to be giving Rondo of Blood another playthrough. Just not sure whether I should go with the original or the remake.

Finished up a round of House of the Dead 4 from PSN. I might look into the content unlocked when messing around later.

In preparation for Tim Schafer's remake of Grim Fandango. I set aside some time to complete the original game in Residual VM. I hadn't completed it in at least a decade.

And it's still great. Absolutely my favorite adventure game ever made.

For the second time in my life, I beaten Shadow Tower Abyss. Playing through the game made me feel part of Dark Souls had gotten some part from it. Then again, both games taken some sort of cue from King's Field. Final boss was easy since I had a shotgun which mean't blowing away it's guardian and then shooting the giant heart. If it weren't for finding bloodstained writing and speaking to the scant NPC's, I wouldn't understand what could be the story of the game.

*Edit: Today, I also finished Battlefield 2: Bad Company 2. Find it to be a decent FPS. Not much to say.

I just beat Star Wars Dark Forces 2.

Really quite excellent game. GoG re-releasing it gave me an opportunity to finally finish it.

The map design was deceptively linear in a good way, I always felt like I was being funneled in a particular direction but not obnoxiously so. The game kept a really good pace and it was full of very fast paced action. The only real complaint is with how awkward the lightsaber combat is in the game. Which was vastly more improved in Jedi Outcast.

I'm probably going to play through it's expansion pack Mysteries of the Sith next.

I beat the story parts of Fantasy Life. Surprisingly, there's no final boss at all through it might be one in the DLC. I probably get the DLC later since there's upcoming games this month I want to be ready for. I'm also kind of burned out from this game since there's so much to do.

After letting it sit around in my game library for awhile I finally got around to beating Borderlands 2. It's a very fun game, and I gotta say the story really got better with this one, even adding a villain that has easily become one of my top 5 favorite villains of all time. Now I'm not sure whether I want to play the Pre-Sequel or Tales from the Borderlands next. Heavily leaning towards Pre-Sequel because of Jack's doppelganger. (I soooooo want to play as Handsome Jack :3 )

Finished Pokemon Gold a few weeks ago and Pokemon Ruby a few hours ago.

I beat the game in terms of beating Lance & the Elite Four, getting all 16 badges (8 in Kanto and 8 in Johto) and beating Red at Mt. Silver.

Whew. Unlike Red & Gold where I use the entire squad, I beat the Elite Four & Steven majorly due to my Blaziken. If it wasn't for my Blaziken I'll get my ass kicked.

Finished the first playthrough of the first Bayonetta, at least the WiiU version. I still have my XB360 version but I think I've already unlocked more in this new version.

Finished Pokemon Firered, making it the fourth Pokemon game I completed this year so far. (Seriously, if someone told me last year or way before that I could beat at least 4 Pokemon games in a year, I would fucking laugh)

GAME OF THE YEAR: 420BLAZEIT vs xxXilluminatiXxx [wow/10 #rekt edition]. Twice.

I just beat Batman Arkham Asylum

Really great game. I liked the combat and I liked the stealth elements and how everything felt really polished. As a person who isn't the biggest Batman fan I thought it was really great.

Just finally beaten Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's main story after putting off so many times in favor of the multiplayer.

Finished and achieved everything in Red Faction: Guerilla, evil little shit that it was...

Battlefield 4, you're next.
