This is insane... I've been known to get over zealous with hot sauce pretty regularly but peppers a whole other thing. Imagine the texture like he just put a handful of spicy sand on there. Also what even is that?

from cursory reading, RCW does define age of consent to be 16 with no carve outs for close-in-age. the age is raised to 18 if there is a "significant relationship" (as defined in RCW 9A.44.010 (8 )) between the partners, which i don't think Lucas qualifies under since he isn't in a supervisory/educational/caretaking position over the younger partner.

i think there is a bit of a misreading here but i fully admit my experience as a LEO is not equivalent to a lawyer or judge or even a learned law student:

i bolded your cited portion, but included the rest of the statute.

section (1) subsection (a) stipulates three clauses, that, together, are connected by the word "and", to the subject (the perpetrator).

usually this means that all clauses must be true rather than each must be true:
1. The person has, or knowingly causes another person under the age of eighteen to have, sexual intercourse with another person who is at least sixteen years old but less than eighteen years old,
2. if the perpetrator is at least sixty months older than the victim,
3. is in a significant relationship to the victim,
4. and abuses a supervisory position within that relationship in order to engage in or cause another person under the age of eighteen to engage in sexual intercourse with the victim;

so my experience in law enforcement is strictly within California, but the wording makes me think that the crime of sexual misconduct with a minor would require all those elements in (a) to be met in order to apply, not just one of the elements. if it were just one element, i would expect to see the word "or" used:

(a) The person has, or knowingly causes another person under the age of eighteen to have, sexual intercourse with another person who is at least sixteen years old but less than eighteen years old, if the perpetrator is at least sixty months older than the victim, is in a significant relationship to the victim, or abuses a supervisory position within that relationship in order to engage in or cause another person under the age of eighteen to engage in sexual intercourse with the victim;

I really like to put hot sauce and paprika powder on a lot of things that don’t need it, but especially when the food tastes and looks bland. I have the feeling that Mallon Place will provide meals that old people need to eat and are both easy and cheap to prepare. Him saying that it was out of this world was obviously a lie if he has to put pepper on it which is pulverised to semi-spicy dust.

If the telomerase crap is on the backburner right now, he sure doesn’t realise that he integrated that into everything that he puts out. When I was a mere 16 years old, I had to admit that there was something adventurous and interesting about older guys. But they were no older than 21. If me and my friends saw a guy which we thought was handsome and found out he was 23+, we deemed him too old for us. I can’t speak for other women, but for me and my friends there was this common notion that guys that are too old for you want things from you that you’re too young to give them. Which came with the fact that if those older guys put their attention towards you, that it was frowned upon and not a good thing.

Sorry for autistic rambling, I should be sleeping right now but Lucas Werner sometimes keeps me up at night.
