its the only mod where level with you IIRC, also their respawn times are much sooner.Just played through old world blues and it man does it suck. The writing is pretty good, a tad lengthy though, but the gameplay is just a slog. Just filled with bullet sponges enemies that overwhelm you with numbers or knockdown. The amount of times that I got knockdowned onto the ground by a shotgun while lobotomies, Cazadores, night stalkers and other obnoxious enemies rape my corpse is ridiculous. It doesn't help that once you think you are done killing waves of enemies the games spawns more. The perks and XP are pretty nice rewards for finishing the DLC though. After going through old world blues I'm now dreading dead money which is even more of a slog gameplay wise.
exactly, its like NK but if they actually had nukes, or better yet were the only ones with nukes.Yeah it seems stupid but this is still the fallout universe. There's a whole bunch of mad science bullshit everywhere and those BOS paladins are outfitted in what is (lorewise) a walking tank.
knowing rural california i assume every tom, dick, and harry took as much as they could carry to sell for scrap. you think catalytic converters sell for a pretty penny i bet enclave has tons of neat goodies worth even more. Beyond that i doubt the NCR could take all the power Armour away from people, then their whole "execute the enclave" means they probably don't have many people that know how to get in the fucking things in the first place, (of course you could say the same thing about the vertibirds)Indeed, power armor isnt that impressive when the opposition is armed with stuff strong enough to pierce through it.
That does make me wonder what it was done with the enclave armors, I mean, sure, they might be from the enemy but they are the strongest piece of PA there is (or was until "suddenly" a new better model came into scene...unless the Enclave specific model is still stronger? Idk, shit's confusing).
Either way, the enclave left a lot of stuff behind and you would have to be a moron to not retrofit that tech into your defensive arsenal
also after 40 years i'm sure whatever they managed to obtain from the Enclave has been used up or destroyed by now (but again you could argue the same for vertibirds)
Then theres the whole "too rare/good to let fall into enemy hands" aspect.
