What is your best DD1 line-up bros?

MONSTERS <--- Abomination <- Bounty Hunter <- Antiquarian <- Highwayman
MONSTERS <--- Jester <- Leper <- Vestal <- Flagellant

These are my two favorites. You'll figure out the skills on your own.

I couldn't believe it when I heard a run of a roguelike is 2 hours. Even 30 minutes is too much for what amounts to a slot machine when few bad rolls can fuck your entire run

Best? I dunno, I tweak lineups all the time based on who's in good condition. My favorite characters are the plague doctor, hellion, and flagellant but I don't often bring them together. If I had to choose, maybe vestal/houndmaster/highwayman/hellion.

What the fuck are you talking about? The runtime of a roguelike like Nethack is more like literal days real time for a winning run.

It seriously depends on what trinkets you have, what quirks you have, and what kind of dungeon you're going into, how long it is, and for what.

Early on almost every team needs Antiquarian unless you want to hobble around broke all the time.

The only real "A-team" in the game is Vestal/Jester/Flagellant/Hellion for Crimson Court if you have that because otherwise stress will wreck you (literally every single move causes stress) and you need nearly constant healing.
 
The developers behind Black Reliquary have posted a progress update, over the last 5 months they we're mainly working on backend stuff and modding tools insetad of content updates but they expect devlopment of the 1.0 release to speed along now that they've finished working on better tools.
Closed testing for 1.0 will begin near the end of November, and they showed off two new units, a Ghoul Buffer and a Kvarotz stress caster.

Red Hook just posted on X that Wayne passed away. Extremely depressing. Sadly I wasn't able to find out what his age was through any Google searches so I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone could share their findings if they discover it. The next narrator will have incredibly large shoes to fill. Rest In Peace.
