I learned about him THROUGH EVS streams, and bought his doctor book, which, had a little bit of a delay in being put out, but I felt like it was decently worth it. I hadn't bought anything since, mostly because I got sick of CG shit, and lateness and it wasn't worth it.

I enjoy Monster MD. I think it was wrapped up far too quickly. 3-5 issues would have been ideal imo. The montage with the Revenant should have been its own mini-arc(a single issue, perhaps?). Instead of hyper-obsessing over the successes and failures of the Rippaverse, you should be learning lessons that you can apply to your own business.
Be excited about your own product, get people hyped, sell them on your idea. Be your own biggest cheerleader. These are basic bitch concepts that you should be aware of already.
What doesn't get people excited is promoting your Kitaru book like something you worked on a decade ago, didn't like it and reworked on it now. You sold it to people like a failed book from ages ago. Why? You already had the hurdle of not having Monica's art on this campaign. People's brains fill in the blanks with "oh, Monica was busy, he had a gap in his production so he repackaged something old to stay afloat".
Instead of being 100% autistically/factually accurate about it, sell it as something you've been working on for a long time and you are super excited for people to see.
If you want to go into detail about the process, put it in the "making of" book. Don't talk about it on launch day, don't send newsletters about it. Don't let potential customers associate it in their heads with words like "old, repackaged, lesser, failed". It has been bothering me since I first heard you talk about Kitaru.
